Órigenés učitel

Author: Pavel Milko

The book “Origenes as Teacher” endeavours to outline, on the basis of two specific texts (“Letter to Gregory the Thaumaturg” and Preface to “Peri archón”), certain aspects of Origen’s thought,  particularly his attitude to philosophy and his conception of theology as science. Though the main subject of the book is an account of the chosen texts and the problems associated with them, nonetheless in the background a picture emerges of this early Christian theologian and philosopher as a writer who educated his pupils through spiritual exercises.
